My love affair with England began when I met and married my late husband. Alan, was born and raised just outside of London lived there (except a brief time in Kent) until his thirteenth birthday when he emigrated to the United States. His desire was to take me there and show me where he grew up but, sadly, that never happened. Instead, I have to experience that lovely country through DVDs, photos and print.

So, let's put on our best manners and journey to "Merry Ol' England". For some of us, it may be a trip "across the pond"; for others a short distance. I'll meet you there!
