The
Fur
Babies

If you have a pet, then you probably will understand what I say here. I have two kids living with me. They need to be fed, toileted, taught and entertained. They can be a bit time consuming and will drain the pocket book. Rarely does a week or two go by that I don't have notations such as Mandy's food, or cat litter or Cat Chow on my grocery list. Then there is heart worm medicine, flea preventative and vet bills.

These two luv-bugs are my heart and I don't regret a penny spent!

Here they are!

Mandy

Registered Faith Amanda Grace of Oklahoma, she comes from a pretty good line of silky terriers. But to me, she's just Mandy and she's a sweetie! She was born in Oklahoma (and yes, I made sure she wasn't from a puppy mill) and flew to Tampa to meet her new Mom when she was 9 weeks old. She was just a bundle of fur when I got her and now she's a lively, energetic lady.

Very soon after she came to her new home

All grown up!

Tabbie

Tabbie was adopted from our local animal shelter. She was the baby I needed to care for when my little Doc Boy died (more about him later). She was about 5 months old and adapted to life in her new home very quickly. She is a snuggler when she wants to be and loves to eat and sleep.

At Rainbow Bridge

Doc Boy. He was 14 years old when he died and it was so hard to let him go. He was 4 years old when I adopted him from my son and he was a faithful friend.

Thelma. She was adopted from a co-worker when she was about 2 years old. She loved to cuddle and would crawl up on my shoulder and fall asleep. In her old age, she had renal disease and was in constant pain and I made the decision to have her out of misery. I miss her very much.
